Confirmation of Permanent Residence

I have a question about COPR.

My fiancee's application was approved (YAY) and they requested a few additional pieces of information (Passport photos, etc) before issuing a COPR. We've sent this info and it was received on August 10th.

It was indicated that her COPR would come with an expiration date of Sept 1.

So here's my questions:

1. How long does it usually take for the government to issue and mail a COPR
   
   
2. What happens if the COPR arrives after the expiration date?

1. It depends on which local visa office you sent your passport to. Usually takes between 2-4 weeks.
2. Not sure about this one. You might want to send an email to the local visa office and enquire about it ASAP.
