Hi,

What other documents I need to submit alongside the letter of employment in order to confirm my Canadian work experience? NOA? T4? Pay Stubs? Or all of them? How many pay stubs should I include?

You'll need:

- Letter of Employment: only if you have an official and eligible job offer. It's essentially the job offer that you and your employer sign
- Offer of Employment: only if you have an official and eligible job offer. It's a letter signed by your direct supervisor, stating that you'll be employed in Canada.
- Employment Records: for all your past + current jobs that you are claiming work experience for. Should be signed by your direct supervisor(s). It's a smart idea to include a T4 (or at least a few Paystubs) with it.

There's no official rule on the no. of paystubs (they don't really ask for any additional material besides the letter itself), but it doesn't hurt to supply as much side-information as possible so it makes their job on verifying your work experience easier. Personally, I included my T4 + three paystubs.

Thanks for your response!

I have 1 year of experience working in Canada, and I have a signed Letter of employment signed by my Manager, and it includes all the information regarding my salary and job duties. Here is a link to a thread I recently created: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/job-letter-sample.565748/#post-7056580. I lost most of my pay stubs so there is a mess as they are all for completely different dates. Would T4 and Notice of assessment be enough? Or NOA is not really needed if I have a T4?

Question is, are you claiming points (+50) for an eligible job offer? Only if you do will you need to provide the letter and offer of employment as far as I'm aware.

For Employment records, a T4 is sufficient - a NOA from what I've read isn't really required, but they may ask for it at a later stage. I didn't have my NOA yet as I only received my Tax Return very recently, and I think a lot of workers in Canada are in the same boat.
