Confession to make - LMO or not LMO.

Hi All,

As many of u know, my application of PR was refused saying I dont hv a valid offer and no LMIA.. as my employer does not say I have permanent position in my offer letter .I spoke to my employer but they have stated they provided me all they could ..

So I made a new profile and I told my WP was issued without a LMIA ...i make 421 points..

And my profile looks like below : They are asking me to register for Job Bank ..but i already hv a job offer ..

Province/Territory Nomination No nomination at this time
Job Bank Registration Pending
Review of Minimum Entry Criteria Met
ITA Status Not Applicable


I think I may get nominated for Ontario PNP.

Do you guys think i am cheating and providing incorrect information ...with regards to my valid job offer and work permit ..as I have a LMO doc but no letter stating I have a permanent job offer ??

I have confessed ..but strongly need your opinions..

Your profile is not active unless you finish the Job Bank Registration. There wont be any ITAs or PNPs coming your way without registering a Job Bank Profile.

You should always provide the correct details. You might get a PT from OOPNP but you have no obligation what so ever to accept it and send a complete application package to Ontario.
Wait for your 600 points from job offer supported by LMIA, that shall get you a direct ITA.

I have a LMO ..but no "permanent" word is written on the job offer letter..so it got refused ..

The LMIA needs to be a +ve LMIA, with a permanent job offer.
Hope I got that right.

Yes buddy ..its a positive LMIA .. as i understand ..

I understand this is very difficult for you because of the rejection on a technicality but you are doing the right thing by answering No this time around. If you answer Yes, the system will again allot you those 600 points and you don't want to repeat that. The only way you would want to say Yes to that question is if your employer somehow agrees to add all the words "permanent, non-seasonal and full time" in your offer letter.

Hope things work out well for you - either with your employer or with OOPNP.

Is it refused or returned? If refused, you will not get the processing fee returned back to you but only RPRF. If the application is returned, you will get processing fee & RPRF back.

It's not about the money... but if it's returned, you'd probably not have to say "Yes" to the question "Have you even been refused visa or denied entry to any country" in all your future applications. Yes or No to that question does matter quite a bit specially with countries like US..
