Dear members,

I have a situation, my spousal sponsorship application submitted to CIC on Sept 7, 2012 and in my landing paper under the heading of Condition is written "NONE". My husband is abusive and threatening me deportation if I try to leave the relationship. I need a clarification if I intend for divorce will it revoke my PR Status.

Unless your COPR has "Condition 51" on it, you are quite safe.

You applied before condition 51 came into effect and even if you hadn't, abuse is one reason you are still allowed to leave your husband without losing your PR. Just go. He can not have you deported.
