Conditional acceptance for English language

Gentlemen,

I have a quick inquiry regarding conditional acceptance from the university.
I got the visa based on the conditional acceptance from university to complete ESL language . is it mandatory to attend the program or I can do the IELTS self-study and reapply with the ielts results.
