If you are were married for less than 2 years and have no kids, then you have the condition 51. It's the date you got married that counts, not how long you've known each other.Bilnupe said:I've knew my spouse for more than 2 years, why does my COPR has conditional 51?
Okay, I just came across this one and want to know a bit more = thanks for the question and answer so far.mandiebraxton said:If you are were married for less than 2 years and have no kids, then you have the condition 51. It's the date you got married that counts, not how long you know each other.

Do you have kids together? If not then the condition applies to you.barse said:Okay, I just came across this one and want to know a bit more = thanks for the question and answer so far.
I am processing sponsoring my wife that fans under this condition (married December 2015), and the application is submitted as OUTLAND, how will this affect me? Thanks in advance.
Whether or not she gets C51 depends on the date you guys applied, and the diligence of the officer reviewing your file. The COPR will show whether or not she gets C51. As stated above whether or not this applies should not be an issue if it's a genuine relationship. Congratssam54562 said:Question: I am married since Feb 14, 2013 with no kids. If you were already married for 2 years or longer when you applied to sponsor her, then she will not get condition 51 on her COPR. If you were married for less than 2 years when you applied, she will get it. It will say on the COPR if she has it or not.sam54562 said:Question: I am married since Feb 14, 2013 with no kids.
