Hi Everyone,
I sponsored my husband in 2014 and he became a PR in early 2015. When submitting our application in spring 2014 my husband and I had been together 1.5 years and I was pregnant. My husband got his PR after the birth of our child. I was filing documents this morning and I realized that our COPR does not have Condition 51. Is this normal?
When we filed the application we had been together less than two years and I had not yet given birth. However when he obtained his PR we had passed the two year mark and had a child. I always though Condition 51 was based on your status on the day you sent in your sponsorship file, not on the day you obtain PR. Did we misunderstand or did CIC make a mistake?
