Please suggest considering all the parameters like part time Jobs availability, weather, City Life, Cost of Living, Reputation of universities

Concordia- MEngg in IT related program **Quality systems**

Ottawa- MEngg in **Engg Management**

My inclination is towards Concordia .....

Though i am not senior but just thought to share my views with you.
Well just go through the course description and check which is better. You can judge this better then anyone as you know what you want to study.

check whether anyone offer co-option as that will be an added advantage.

As far as reputation is concerned Ottawa has an upper hand.

Did you got the call from Ottawa as last time we discussed we were on same page.

Even though Qubec is a beautiful city and montreal is one of the best place to live I ll suggest you to go for university of Ottawa.Its located in Ottawa,ontario its biggest USP and far better ranked than Concordia. Canadian government spends a lot of funding for university of Ottawa being its capital university. Job opportunities are quite good in university of Ottawa. Take a look at this :-

But in the end if you like concordia program structure ,its curriculum and are quite interested in it then go for that particular program. Else high five for ottawa

Hi,

Although Business Insider is a reliable source of information, fact is no rankings are accurate. I was actually a bit shocked to see University of Mumbai (#41 -- better than Univ. of Ottawa at #44 !) on the list of world's top 50 Best Engineering schools, instead of the world renowned IITs. Weren't you atleast surprised?

Exact i was going to write as Tiger wrote...

Moreover, when it comes to comprehensive category concordia stands better than ottawa. All I think is based on
certain aspects only....

Of ourse location does matter and varies from person to person interest... Ottawa is primarily consist of political places, govt buildings , well organized buildings, beautiful pathways / parks and not much to do for youth like me who prefer night life.. Reputation is better for 2 reasons ... One being in capitL city and another its very old univ so mindset is alreaxy established.

Montreal on the other hand is awarded as lively city and se ond largest city in CN... Concordia is doing good too day by day.

Ontario PR is somewhat tougher than Quebec....

Cost of living sp. rent is cheaper in Montreal relative to ottawa

One of my relative lives in alberta and according to him University of Ottawa has much better reputation than university of Concordia for engineering. Its famous in US as well while Concordia is not. But whatever @mayank said about montreal is true as well.


PS:- I don't believe that list (business insider) but its true that recruitment wise Ottawa is very good
