Yes they told that the decision happens in a different Dept and my query cannot be forwarded to them directly as it might delay the decision making process.

Thanks dear, I got a reply, the cordinator said that I will be answered after the deadline of the application, that I shld be expecting an answer mid next week ..... ..so am praying I get a positive answer by that time

I am also waiting from last 4 months
I mailed to the university, today, they said due to large number of applications committee still reviewing the applications. You will be notify when decision has been made.
