Concerns About Applying for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) Amid Relocation Plans

Hi,

Here's a brief overview of my situation:

1. I'm currently working in Canada on a closed work permit, which expires on December 1, 2024.
2. I've submitted my PR documents and received an AOR on June 10.
3. I'm planning to apply for a BOWP.

However, my employer recently informed me that they are wrapping up operations in Canada, and I need to return to my home country to continue working for them. My last day in Canada will be June 30.

I am eligible for a BOWP, but I'm confused about applying due to the following reasons:

1. If I apply and get approved, the BOWP will be mailed to my address in Canada. Since no one will be there to pick it up, it might be returned to IRCC. Will this affect my PR application?
2. If I receive the BOWP before my visa and work permit expire and return to Canada to pick it up, will I need to apply for a TRV from within Canada? How long does it take to get a TRV from Canada? Is there a way to get a TRV from outside Canada?
3. Is it possible to get both the BOWP and TRV while in my home country (outside Canada)?
4. Can I switch jobs after applying for a BOWP, given that my current work permit is closed?
