Complications if we remove 1 year foreign experience?

Hi everyone,

My cousin received her ITA in the August 27th CEC draw. In her Express Entry profile, she mentioned having 2 years of foreign work experience along with 2 years of Canadian work experience, which gave her a CRS score of 508 at the time she received the ITA. Now, she’s considering removing 1 year of her foreign experience from the application. After recalculating her score on the CRS tool, the score remains the same even with just 1 year of foreign experience.

We have a few questions regarding this change:

1. Is it permissible to remove previously declared work experience after receiving an ITA?

2. After receiving an ITA, if we omit certain experience, does the system automatically recalculate the CRS score, or do we need to verify it manually using the CRS tool?

3. Could this change have any impact on eligibility or other aspects of the application that we might be unaware of?

4. The remaining 1 year foreign experience is not continuous - I hope it won’t hurt since she got invited under CEC?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
