Okay, if someone has a more complicated situation than I do, than I am SHOCKED.

My boyfriend is Venezuelan but has his permanent residence in Brazil. I am Canadian but have been living in Peru for over 1.5 years. I met him in Brazil and he moved here to Peru to be with me. He has a working visa for Peru (has been here with me in Lima for 4 months now) and has his home and daughter in Brazil. He has not been living in Venezuela for over 6 years. We are wanting to visit Canada to see my family for a MAX of 2 weeks. He has enough money in his account aprox $4000 and has a job here in Peru. We will be visiting home for two weeks and returning back to Peru. Both my mother and I could write a letter of invitation. More so my mother because I am not currently living in Canada. This is a bit of a complicated situation.... how do we submit a succesful application based on our situation? Does it affect the application if I mention he is my boyfriend? Any advice would be SO amazing.....!!!! I am not sure if the CIC will see this as we might stay in Canada because he has PR in Brazil and is currently living in Peru...because his ties aren't necessarily in one country.... PLEASE HELP ! :)

The simplest summary of your story is that your boyfriend moved to Peru to be with you, a Canadian, which is a bad bad bad detail against his personal history/tendencies for when he tries apply for a visa to travel to Canada. You already realized it somewhat in your last sentence. Someone else is free to disagree with me, but I wouldn't even try applying.

Edited to add: Even if he completely doesn't mention you in the application, I think his ties are still pretty weak: no strong ties to any country, not enough cash.
