I've been with my boyfriend for over 3years now. He's American, I am Canadian. He has been here multiple times back and forth. This time, While he was here, I found out i was pregnant. I had the baby in October of 2008. He stayed way longer than his 6months. He would of stayed about 1 year. It's not that we wanted to do anything Illegal. With the new baby and I had depression he was here with me, helping me out with the baby and things like that. Keeping me on track making sure, I was alright.... We had just discussed that he had been here really long and that he needed to go back home for a while before coming back so that we would not break any laws. Problem is, before that could happen an incident happened with me, in which i had to call the police on someone else, my boyfriend being in the home with me at the time, was asked his name and where he was from. So when they checked him in the system it showed he had been here a while, Canadian RCMP contacted Immigration and told them, he didn't do nothing wrong, but had over stayed his stay. They told me he had about a week or so before they came, I tried to get him to go back to america, but the day i had my pay, They knocked on the door and picked him up, Brought him back to America, Immigration officer said he was "unable to return to canada for 1 year period"

This is very hard, with my depression and his son who is 9 months. I would really like for him to come back and help me out with the baby. Someone told me that perhaps he can go to the canadian cunsulate? in buffalo (he's in pensylvania) and they would see him early in the morning and perhaps sign papers right away allowing him to come back into canada.

I am at a loss here, I'm nervous alone and just disgusted with what happened, becuase it was not intentional and he was here helping with his son..

any thoughts? on how to try to get him here before a year? the legal way?

1. Sorry, but he broke the law and paid the price.
2. He received an exclusion order as it appears from what you said, so he is barred from Canada for a year.
3. If he wishes to come to come Canada before that year is up, he must apply for Ministerial Permission (ARC) It is not a drop into the office and they will sort it out in a morning deal.
4. Here is the information and the fees for applying http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/inadmissible_arc_interdiction.aspx?lang=eng

I actually faxed some papers and got a reply back from the consulate in buffalo, he can go in the morning and be seen directly there, because we have a son and my health situation...... so i'll let know how everything goes, thanks for the link though.
