Complicated situation about my work experience...

Hi all,

I am looking for some insights here...
I am currently on a work permit and preparing EE CEC application. I have been working for a firm for over one year.

When I was hired by the firm, the job title is actually a coop student job. However, at that time, I already graduated from university and holding Post graduate work permit. The HR just thought that recent graduates are also eligible to apply this job, then I got the offer and work there for a few months and got converted to a permanent employee. During that time, I was treated as a regular full time employee (paid fair and working 37.5 per week, and theres nothing about student job/coop words in my title/occupation.

I am just wondering if this experience could be counted as EE CEC working experience. From the website, it said "self-employment and work experience gained while you were a full-time student (such as a co-op work term) doesn’t count under this program". However, I was not a full time student (graduated with work permit) when working for my first job.

Since I already became a permanent employee, I could just wait for another several months to make sure I have 12 months FT experience or I can jump into the pool now if the first experience counts. How do you think?

Any ideas are welcomed
Thanks a lot!

Not complicated. You weren't a student, so the experience counts.
