What if someone is an employee of a private organization work for few hours a week and receive salary less than five hundred for a month in cash. The employer provided a letter of employment but not the t4 or pay stub. Also this cash is not declared in the family income but one personal check which is declared (as for last few months the employer is giving salary as a personal check) But again not giving any pay stub as a supporing document so no t4 for this year as well but will be declared it in family income next year.

What is the best option?
1). Do not declare anything? as there is no official record of employment (social insurance number not used anywhere)
2). Submit the letter of employment with an explanation letter that employer is not giving the pay stub? (then question may be raised why not shown the cash income?)
3). Consult with any immigration firm? (not a good idea)

Have to submit citizenship docs asap.Seniors help please.

If you declare you have been receiving cash, but there are no T4 forms from the employer, then it implies CRA has had no way of determining the taxation on that income. That's problem number one. Problem number two is that even if you were to declare such activity, it would still be considered suspicious from CIC (who are known to use ATIP to collected data from CRA). And problem number three is that if you do not declare this, but they find out (how?) that you have lied, your citizenship may be doomed. Weigh these problems and then choose the one with the smallest weight.
