I was born in UK, but returned to my country of origin at a few months old, I returned as a teenager, 19 years old to stay with my family, but due to my age family couldn't file for me and I resided illegally. I now want to try to apply for Canadian PR under NOC 2282, and with a sibling with Canadian PR. I have checked eligibility for express entry and have CRS of 440.

Does anyone have any advice or able to help with the following questions bothering me
1. My degree was obtained while illegally resident, will this be considered?
2. My work experience is also while illegally resident will this be counted.
3. In combination with time spent at birth, I do have a years residency legally in total, do I still have to return to my country of origin to apply?
4. Is there anything else I should be aware of?

Advice, references, informationn is welcome, thanks in advance.

If you were born in U.K., then U.K. is your country of origin.

1-2: you need to elaborate. What was illegal about your residency? Did you overstay a visa?

3. Why would this be relevant? You can apply from anywhere.

Thanks for your response.

I overstayed my visa when I returned to the UK, I returned to the UK as a visitor with the intention of applying for citizenship which was denied. I then stayed with my family (parents and sibling) thinking I would be able to regularise my stay somehow.

I thought to apply for PR one has to be a legal resident in the country. Since I am not legally resident in the UK, I assumed I cannot apply from the UK.
