Hi, I started serving an exclusion order of June 2014. I have now completed the year sentence without returning to Canada. I actually got married to my best friend who is a Canadian, she moved with me to my country for one year. We just want to visit Canada for about two weeks, it's not the completion of year two since the exclusion order. I wanted to know if I still need to apply for an ARC or could I just buy a ticket and perhaps deal with the interview process and provide compelling evidence about one my marriage, the change in my circumstances since I got removed, etc, etc?

Can anyone shed some light about this and I couldn't find out if I needed the ARC still or not?

No - you don't need an ARC. You would only need an ARC if you were attempting to return to Canada before the completion of your exclusion order.
