LANDED..........
Sep 2013
Hi Guys and Girls. Requesting some insights from seniors regarding completing the Landing procedure without family.

A friend of mine is about to receive his passports and COPR. He is currently inside Canada with his family and kids.

He has an urgent requirement to visit home and he will do that as soon as he gets his passport back from CIC. He will not do the landing procedure now, but on his return, he will complete the landing procedure at Toronto airport.

But his wife and children will be here in Canada during this time. Can they do the 'landing procedure' at the border without him? Should they do it before he returns to canada, or after he has returned and done his landing at Toronto.

Any insights, greatly appreciated.

AS per the rules the Principal applicant must land Before and the family can follow . If the husband is the Principal aplicant in that case the husband has to complete the landing procedure 1st and then the family can join later . Dependent applicants can't land 1st . Hope this helps .

Thanks Kolkata for the response.

Any chance you can provide me a link where you read this. Would be greatly appreciated.
