Hi, I'm currently an International Student at UBC and I'm about to complete my Geophysics degree (After this semester I have 9 credits to go, that is an extra semester).
Right now I'm enrolled in the Co-op program of my university and I'm debating on whether 1) complete the full co-op program (work for 16 months, go back to UBC and complete my degree requirements in December 2017), OR, 2) just work over summer 2016, come back to school and complete the requirements in December 2016.
I want to apply for a PGWP after I graduate and then apply for EE and get PR. The main difference between my two options would be my graduation date and hence how early I can get the PGWP and then EE.
Since my main goal is EE, would it be more important the work experience that I get with a PGWP or with Co-Op (I would bet PGWP>Co-Op)?
I would be glad to hear your opinion on this!
