Comparison between Seneca and Saint George College in Toronto

Hello,

I am planning to move to Canada as an international student to obtain a certificate/degree from a college in Toronto.
I already have a Master's degree from France. However, in order to obtain a learning experience in Canada and to change my field of study (for employment upon graduation), I am thinking of applying for the Early Childhood Education program at Seneca or George Brown College in Toronto.

I would like to obtain some information on a comparison basis between the 2 colleges. Are the two colleges quite similar to each other or could we say one is better than the other for this specific program and also in terms of employment rates for graduates?

I would appreciate any information/experience shared regarding these two colleges.

Seneca is definitely better and better known but you will probably face some problems with getting your study permit given the fact that you already have a Master's and coming to Canada to change your field is not well looked upon.

Sorry, it was my mistake; I have corrected the name: I meant George Brown college.

Both colleges are solid choices. I can't speak to the program though. Perhaps try reddit and type "George Brown vs Seneca for ECE" something like that. Some colleges have joint programs with universities. Like Seneca does a lot of stuff with York and George Brown with Ryerson. Good luck!!!

Also, any suggestions on how I could mitigate those? The reason I have picked Early Childhood Education is that based on my brief research it seems to be on demand later on for employment. I have a Master's degree in "instruction of the French language" and thought of studying a more specific program in Canada.

You have to show why a Canadian ECE program will lead to career opportunities in your home country not Canada. You have a masters and ECEs work in daycares or assist teachers at low pay so definitely not career progression.

ECE is in demand because of low pay. Your choice of programs should show career progression based on both education and work history.

School doesnt matter her most likely in terms of employment so choose based on other things like price/location etc.
