My company is unwilling to provide me experience letter for immigration letter, saying that it is "not their responsibility"
I received my ITA around 2 and a half months back and am very close to the deadline to file my application. Can any of you experts please tell me if I can provide another document in place of the experience letter from company?

Many thanks

Get a regular visit visa reference letter from your employer to show that you are their employee then get the IRCC format reference letter from a supervisor/senior colleague on plain paper stating everything expected per your work experience. Include the person's call/complimentary card and a short explanation letter where you state that since it is against your company's policy to provide the reference in the format expected by IRCC, you are providing this alternative to support your application, cheers.

Would like to add few more things with what Pipis Husband stated.

Along with the reference letter from your supervisor/colleague, you will need to get an affidavit as well from the person. If you have any email communication from your company where they stated that they wont be able to give you the reference will make your claim more stronger. Moreover, add your employment contract paper and pay stubs as supporting documents. In your case, it is essential to provide all these documents in order to make the Visa officer believe that you work there. Cheers

Thanks for your guidance, I'm indebted. i feel that what you said would work.
Have you known anyone who managed to secure a PR eventually through the steps you mentioned. Regards

There are many who got PR through this way in this forum. All it takes is to provide as much as information to the visa officer to get him convinced. Prepare your docs accordingly what Pipis and I mentioned. You are good to go.
