Hello,

I have a Young Professional visa, and my commonlaw partner sent the application for the Permanent Residency (after acceptance from the BC PNP), with me as a dependent.

Can I change my job?
My Young Professional Visa is connected to this job.
So, in other words, is being the Commonlaw partner of a skilled worker in process for the PR through the BCPNP gives me a status allowing me to work another job not connected to my Young Professional visa?

I can't find a clear answer so thank you to anyone who can bring me any additional info on the matter!!

Sincerely,
Yassine.

No you need to work under the terms and conditions of your current work permit.
As the spouse you are eligible to apply for a open spousal work permit and once issued you could then change jobs but not before
