It is quite variable between CHC.... although it supposed to be within 12 months but many cases it goes a lot beyond..... You can have a look at my time line... being in fast track applicant waiting more than 20 months..... If you are post 26 June 2010 applicant...it might be a bit faster as the eligibility assessment done more extensively at CIC to save CHC processing time....
