Hi,

Me and my girlfriend are together since November 2nd, 2016 and were living together in Montreal for the past 10 months. We plan on sending our sponsorship application in 2 months once we pass the requirement of living together for a year. My girlfriend is Canadien and I'm an Israeli who entered Canada multiple times over the last few years. Since a year and a half ago I noticed that my passport didn't get stamped when I entered.

In the application I'm requested to provide a proof of my status in Canada as a supporting document. Every time I entered was as a tourist including my last entry a couple of days ago. Israelis are exempt from applying for a visa and I only have the approval email of my eTA.

Any idea how can I show that I lived in Canada for the last year as a tourist (leaving and reentering every 6 months or less)?

Both of our names and signatures are on the lease of our apartment.

Thank you,
Oz

You can get your entry report from CBSA. Even though passport wasn't stamped, it was scanned and your entry was recorded.

Other ways to show cohabitation are the joint lease agreement, joint financial/credit card account, joint utility bills, mail delivered to you at same address, shared insurance plans, testimonial letters from neighbors/family, etc etc.

Twice:

The first time was for a duration of 1 month, originally went back to Israel because my dad passed away and stayed for the entire month because my grandfather passed away shortly after.

The second was just for 10 days for my cousin's wedding and I arrived back just a few days ago.

In all times I was in Canada I left before my 6 months limit and reentered shortly after.

Also in my last 4 exits I was accompanied by my girlfriend, including the two times mentioned above.

Hi

Most passports aren't stamped anymore. Just include a letter stating you don't have a stamp and they can verify your entry in the system.

Thanks! I already applied for my entry report from CBSA. I hope it will be sufficient.

You don't need that. The letter stating you have no stamp is sufficient. This is very common.
