Hello everyone,

I just received an ITA through express entry, while my partner's points didn't allow him yet to get an invitation, but he has visit visa to Canada.

What is recommended to be done? should we travel to a Canada and get married, and include him in my application? will this affect my current processing ITA?

Or should we wait until I get my ITA and he can come with me to Canada on his visit visa and we can get married there and stay and apply from there?

Thanks,

Krystine

If you are in a common-law relationship, you should declare your partner in your application no matter if your partner is accompanying with you or not in Canada. If you do not declare your partner in your application, you will not be able to sponsor him later since you did not declare him in your PR application.
