Hi,
I am a Canadian who has been in a commited relationship with a Chinese woman for two years living together. We are both teaching together at an international school and make good money. This summer, I want her to come to Canada to visit my familly and friends, but I only have 2 months to get her her visa, so I want to do it right the first time, and do it as fast as possible. So, as my subject says, I want to know which would be most likely to get her a visa on time, applying as single or common law, online or in person.
We already filled out all the forms and collected all the other stuff we could, like flight ittineraries, medical insurance, a letter from me, a letter from our employer with our salary and intention to return to China, a bank statement, pictures of us together over the last two years, passport photocopy, hukou photocopy, letter from my dad who is a professor confirming my story, etc. The big problem on my mind now is that I heard my partner needs to have around 8-9 thousand dollard in her bank account to be accepted, and we don't have that right now. Does anyone have any ideas about our chances of having her visa approved, and of how we should apply to guarantee her visa will be issued promptly and right the first time? Thanks
