I am new to the category of Family Class Sponsorship. I had always focused my time and energy on work permits and visitor visas so that me and my boyfriend of 2.5 years could remain physically together in Canada. Until we came upon the common-law sponsorship.
I heard the Immigration Minister make an announcement this week that they would shorten backlog times.
My question is ... my boyfriend who is Dutch, would like to study while our sponsorship application is processing.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
I've only ever seen work permits being mentioned.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!
