Common law relationship proof checklist

Hi there,

Following is a list of things we have ready for our common law application, is it enough?

1.Lease for the past one year and the upcoming year
2.Cell phone bills with the same address and call records for the past 1 year
3.utilities (internet, hydro etc) for the same address paid by both of us, for example enbridge by me and hydro by him for the past 1 year
4.mail in both our names from the past year,
5.5 notarized letters from friends and family
6. joint account and individual bank statements for the past year
7.apartment insurance in both our names for the past 1 year and the upcoming year
8.pay stubs and tax documents with the same address for the past 1 year
9.like 50 photos from the past 2 years
10. facebook and text message screenshots(like 50 pages from the past 2 years)
11.travel tickets from the past 1 year
12.employment letters with the same address

Overkill. IRCC got tired of people sending their app in a box and created this checklist with specific requirements to cut down on the paper. When people send in hundreds of pages of stuff like chats, IRCC sometimes end up just shredding most of it without even looking at it.

1. Good.
2. Leave out the call records. Just include page 1 of the bill showing the address and submit a selection covering at least a year, i.e. Jan, July, Jan. No need to show 50 pages when 6 accomplishes the same thing.
3. As above, selection over the year, not all.
4. Given the above solid proofs, a small selection.
5. Include them.
6. Selection over the year.
7. Good.
8. Tax documents showing marital status as common-law is good. Pay stubs aren't necessary.
9. Follow. The. Checklist. Very clearly says max 20 photos.
10. Leave it all out. As per the checklist, communication proofs are only required for couples NOT living together.
11. A few tickets is good.
12. Not necessary.

Hi there

I have just gotten the ITA (Common Law Application). I have receive the checklist and preparing the documents now. I saw on many forums that they are required to send in a maximum of 20 photos as proof of relationship. On my checklist, I did not see this. Why is this so? It seems like everyone is sending in their pics for proof of relationship.
So do I need to send in my pics with my partner?
