Hello guys, I will apply two days later and my landlord created such a big problem right now.

So I was going to show the rent lease and my phone bill which have the same address. But the lease is from 01.07.2018 to 31.06.2019 (It's a thing in Montreal, doesnt make sense to me) and I moved in with my partner in March so we asked the landlord to write a letter for us but she says she will do it only if we sign a letter that we want to move out! We don't want to move out, in these cases landlords take care of the moving expenses and she is basically trying to get rid of us like this. We dont want to move out!

Now I don't have a letter. Do you guys think I should still apply?

For cohabitation I have phone bills only in this case (It's a joint bill) . My partner takes care of the bills. I have some other bills like some courses that I take they are addressed here but only 2 bills.

We have a joint bank account, photos, plane tickets, letters from friends

I have no advice but to expect advice on a FREE forum in 6 minutes is a bit unrealistic. Please give the generous people of this forum time. We all have lives and matters to take care of. Patience will be key waiting for this answer as well as through the pr application process

Since I don't have much time left I wanted to post twice hoping that people on the main page would see. My intention wasn't what you understood. I am aware that people all have lives and matters to take care of.

Hi there. Do you have a lease that is in both names (yours and your partner)? Or it's just in your name?
You need to show to the office that you really cohabitate.

Photos and plane tickets don't prove cohabitation. You need to focus on evidence that show you have had a shared address and that proves you've had a shared address for a full year.

-Online order receipts or billing letters that shows your address
-Credit cards statement
-gym membership for both of you

We have a lease... But the problem is in the lease on every page on the right downside there is a part where we are supposed to put initials. Those parts were missing I told my landlord and she said she would take care of it and took the lease and now she is not giving it back. (She said she won't give it back unless we agree to move out) She did give us the "Releve 31" slip ( I dont know what this is for but i think it has to do sth with taxes) In this slip there is my name and our address, and there is another one for my partner.

I have cell phone bills that cover a full year only.
I have some letters from bank but they were delivered around October. I moved in March.
I was thinking I can still apply and write a letter to explain our situation with landlord (Took the lease, not giving it back)
Because I will complain to Regie du logement about this and the landlord will have to give me the copy of lease at some point. And I can submit it once I have it. The problem is I can't wait because I will be out of status on 21st of March

so I need check the box of "Joint utility account" show our bank account
and "Documents issued to the same address" and provide the phone bills and this releve 31 slip, and I have 3 bills that sent to me.

This way I will be able to check 2 boxes.
I am also providing our cat's adoption documents, was signed by both of us, has our address.
Do you guys think it will be enough? Again, I will provide the lease once I have it back

There is no way that your landlord won't give you a copy of the lease. You tell to the landlord that you are going to suit him about him not giving the copy of the Lease.By law he can't deny you from having a copy of the lease.

I know!! She is so annoying! She says she can't find it but i asked her to take a picture of her hard copy and send me she says she wont do it because we didn't agree to move out. I have to apply before 21st of March because I am on visitor visa. So I can't wait for her to give it back to me. I will go to Regie du logement to complain but I don't want to lose time either

Showing the lease with both names for 1 year or more is better than showing just telephone bills.

Lease is not mandatory for sponsorship.
yes I saw in some threads because some people live with their parents so they don't have any lease, they just get a letter from parents and apply... and I will provide the lease in the future as soon as I get the copy back because I think It's a good proof. I just need to check 2 boxes to prove that we are common law living together and i think, even though I don't have bunch of bills, letters etc, I have a few so I am able to check to boxes.
