Common-law partner sponsorship, photocopy of a proof of separation

Hi,

As a proof of separation for my common-law partner, we could only get a photocopy of the original document.

Is the photocopy considered as an authentic proof?

photocopy of most documents is required submitted.....when original copy is required, its stated in the checklist or Country Specific Requirements.
