Hi,

I'm going to soon my file my Express entry and apply for my PR. Soon after i migrate i want to take my partner along. He works for a public sector bank.

In india, same-sex partnership is not legally recognized. My partner and I have been living together since 2015. (Just a background on the live-in setup: I bought a house and he moved in. His company covered his rental assuming that I'm his owner. In Jan 2017, i lost my job and was finding it difficult to pay my mortgage. Hence he took over the bank mortgage and now he owns the house since September 2017. There's no rental set up between us)

Now i need clarity on the following queries;

1. Should I declare my partnership at the timing of filing my express entry?

2. What more documents can we start collecting in order to strengthen the case?

3. Since we are not completely out to our families yet, does police verification and other checks cause trouble?

I can't afford to leave him back and move forward. Can anyone guide me through this situation?
