I Canadian Citizen have been living with my common law partner for almost 3 years. Because of him being overstayer we were never able to open a bank account under his name. All the bills were under my name. We have some documents such as NHS hospital letters under his name. We did not know about insurance policy before so, We recently got joint life insurance from UK. Should I get one from Canada as him being beneficiary? Or from India as we both are born in India.
I can't work in UK but I get rental income from my house in Canada.
Do I need a job offer letter from Canada to prove my intention to live in Canada? It's hard to find someone for letter.
