Hello

I have a question about common law application.

Should i make copies of utility bills and other mail or shiuld i attach the original mail?
And i have union gas bills with both of out names, joint bank account, our drivers license with the same address, paycheck with the same address, and some other mail. Would that be enough to prove cohabitation?

photocopy is enough don't send originals and black out any account information numbers. . Do you any life insurance policies with each as beneficiaries .

that was my mistake before, I sent all the originals but its all good since as long as your evidence is enough they wont ask more.

in my case, I sent tons of bills, pics, receipts, Insurance both medical and life and in the end they sent me another letter asking for more but it was worth it. just provide what they are asking and you will be good.

we don't have life insurance together, but I will be on my boyfriend's benefit from his company soon. Would that be enough? or should I get a life insurance?

No, you don't need to purchase life insurance.

Most people's employer benefit plans already include life insurance. So if you are submitting proof that you have been added to his benefits plan, then can also easily show you've been allocated as his beneficiary for work benefits life insurance.

o i agree with Rob and Alurra , you can show you are on his benefits from work . For some of us we require different things because the length or shortness of the relationship. For me i got life insurance for an extra thing to include .
