COMMON LAW CONIDITION

Hi there,

I am just about to apply for common law sponsorship. We've been cohabiting since 03/2013 and Ive recently returned to Canada to submit our application OUTLAND. However, I am starting to worry…. in 10/2013 I returned to Canada for three weeks because my Canadian passport was stolen. Will this affect our application because I was not physically with him for a period of time?

I answered your question in another thread . CIC gives to common law partners the same treatment as you were a married couple as long as you continue depending emotionally and financially from each other . Three weeks apart in not breaking the continuance of your relationship .
