Dear Forum Friends,

Have a question please, if I were to arrive in Canada on an Visit Visa lets say for 6 months, and I look for a Job there, will a company give me a work permit to work there lets say for one year and renew it every year as long as I'm working in that company ? cause if that is the case I can still work there and then apply for my PR in a later stage whenever the time is right.

Would appreciate your valuable opinion, if you can tell me if this is possible ? or what is the current situation and other viable options available ?

For your information I am am currently residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and I am an IT Specialist/Professional with already several years’ experience working for Multinational companies in Dubai with an Bachelors and Masters Degree.

I had already enrolled myself in the Canadian Express Entry System and also completed my IELTS will overall 7.0

Appreciate your help on this
Thanks Again
Sam

You can certainly try to find a job in Canada as a visitor - however it tends to be extremely difficult to find an employer.

In order for you to obtain a work permit, the employer not only has to give you a full time job offer but also obtain an approved LMIA before you can apply for a work permit. To obtain an approved LMIA, the employer has to advertise the job for at least a month to prove no Canadian could be found for the role. The employer then has to submit the LMIA for processing. Processing typically takes a few months (sometime more than four months) - and there's no guarantee of approval. Because the LMIA process is so long and expensive, it's typically very difficult finding employers willing to go through the process. Additionally, it can be quite difficult to get an LMIA approved for a job in the IT field since it's difficult to prove no Canadian could be found for the role.

Having said that, some people do manage to secure jobs. So you can certainly try.

Ok Thank You for the Information :)

Now is there such a thing called working in holiday reason visit visa ? If so how does it work and how long is it valid and can it be renewed ?

Also is my country eligible for such an option, I'm an Indian Citizen.

Yes - there is such a thing as a Working Holiday Visa. However Indian citizens do not qualify for Working Holiday Visas. So this is not an option for you.
