Hi guys,

I have done by bachelors in financial markets from mumbai university, India, i am planning to do my PG from canada in finance, guys please advise me which course is good for finance related jobs over there. Should i go for post baccalaureate diploma from TRU since they have a 2year course and i will be getting 3 year PGWV or should i prefer colleges (Humber, Fanshawe, Sheriden or whichever is good) in which they are providing only 1year course.
and also is post baccalaureate diploma considered as Post graduation ?since i have heard that post baccalaureate diploma are done by those who wants to study a course not related to their field.
And also i might not go for masters so can u guys please suggest me which course and which college/university will suit me.

I am in dilemma... :(

Thank you in advace

I am i same boat, Thinking to apply for FDU in Vancouver BC for MAS course..Below is there repsonse, have a look and see if u r interested and all are suggesting not for colleges instead go for Univ and complete Masters ( for immediate PR )

"Thank you very much for your inquiry. basically you do not meet the entry requirement for direct entry to the Master of Administrative Science without a 4-year bachelor degree.
However, you can transfer to the Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies degree to get the 4 years credit and fast track to the MAS program.

It will be worked as the following:

The BAIS degree can accept up to 90 credits. So ideally if you get 90 credits transfer (might be less) to the Bachelor of Arts degree, you will need 30 more credits to complete the 4-year bachelor degree. The Fast track option may allow you to take up to 9 credits Master level courses towards your bachelor degree.

So it is possible that you will take 7 courses in bachelor level and 3 courses in Master level to complete a 4-year degree then another 7 courses in the Master Lever to complete the Master of Administrative Science degree. That’s total 17 courses."

2. Note, unless you are taking one of the following courses at FDU

Fairleigh Dickinson University*

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies
Master of Administrative Science
You won't get an off campus work permit, nor will you get a PG Work Permit.
