Hi,

All colleges are more or less same... offering same 1 year Ontario Graduate certificate programme in IB (with/without co-op), except for Humber, which offers 2 years GBM ON grad certificate programme. You need to compare the IB programmes rather than the colleges. Compare the course structure, what they offer etc.
Although, Centennial college is the oldest one... and offers IB programme with 1 sem co-op intern, but you need to maintain a good GPA of 2.5 to get into the intern, or as 1 member on this forum claimed you can "BUY" co-op intern at Centennial college by paying up 4000C$ extra!
Go for an IB/GBM programme with CO-OP option.

Co-op/ intern are work term/work experience months(or weeks)/ internships.. compulsorily or optional as part of the course and which maybe paid or unpaid. For example, a same level, 1 year PG certificate programme in say... International Business can be simply of 2 semester/8 months (that is without a co-op) like in CONESTOGA COLLEGE, or it can be with an option to do co-op/intern ranging from few weeks to upto 4 months or 1 full term like in CENTENNIAL COLLEGE. Remember, the co-op term cannot be more than the 50% of your entire course. The number of co-op/ intern weeks/ months you do, will add up to the total duration of your PGWP, so for people with 2 SEM/8 months/ 1 academic year courses, a co-op term can be very beneficial, as it will not only give them practical work experience but also give additional extra time to their PGWP.

Hope its clear now.

any other college in BC ??
you need to visit each and every college website, check their individual programmes websites, be it in BC or anywhere else in Canada, and see if the programmes you are interested in offers co-op/internship/work experience term or not.

To see the the list of participating recognized colleges visit:

Hi,

It's clearly mentioned that for international students.. 1 year/ 2 semester programme of PDD in Business studies, will cost ---- $7,815 per semester (15 credits). That's 7,815*2= 15,630 C$ for full year.
This is only the total tuition fees, and does not include cost of living or other related expenses.

Depends... mostly on how sound your parents/whoever will be guarantor for your loan is financially sound, your academic record etc. Generally I've heard and also read on this forum that bigger banks may hesitate to give loan for a PG certificate/diploma course, but I think if you keep knocking on all the doors..and if you keep your/ your parent's property such as flat, land etc. on collateral, then getting a loan should not be a problem.

@ Jinal:

Not just the tuition fees, but you must also consider entire 1 year cost of living (that's minimum 10,000C$) and enough money for return airfare..that's approx 2,000C$ as your total expense.
So, 15,630+10,000+2000= 27,630C$ is your total overall minimum expense. That's 13.9 lacs INR approx.

So, it's always reccomended to take atleast 75-80% as loan amount of entire overall expenses. That will be around... 10.4 lacs INR or atleast 10lacs INR.

This is my personal opinion, and I'll follow the same calculation to be on the safer side.
