So my partner and I on our quest to continue to live together for 1 year. Our breakdown is as follows.
Oct 2nd til July 18th...Lived in a Hotel Complex in a couple different suites.
We were unable to get proper original receipts because they wanted to charge us 12% tax for 9 months.
So we got them to write a notarized Billing Statement Affidavit showing both our names.
Now we are heading on a 3 month backpacking trip together. During this trip we will be visiting well over a dozen cities and more.
We know that we must a get a receipt from each and every place we stay with our names on it, the date, and the contact information.
However we're quickly learning here in Thailand it's not usual to provide receipts so they write it on any piece of paper. Furthermore today the lady had no idea what I was talking about as she did not know one word of English. So she just wrote on the back of a business card what I told her to.
Does anyone have any advice here to ensure that we have 100% evidence that we have cohabited together during the entire duration of this trip?
Since a lot of these upcoming receipts, my guess is will be unofficial at best, order slips, business cards, scrap paper etc. Do you think we will run into problems?
We are backing it up with plenty of pictures, airline tickets, and photocopies of eachothers visa stamp entries
