Question 3 "application to sponser and undertaking",instructions say "ONLY your spouse or common law partner can co-sign this application"....the instructions then say "note,if you are sponsoring your spouse, you cannot have a co-signer"..my wife is outside Canada and she signed as co-signer already. It doesnt make sense, says my spouse can be co-signer,yet next says spouse cannot co-sign?Im confused.

Basically:

Your spouse can co-sign for all sponsorship types EXCEPT spousal.

She already signed as co-signer as well as applicant on last page.can I cross off where she signed as co signer,or will they reject application because of he signing as co-signer?

My guess is that you can just cross it out. I would imagine that CIC will understand it was an honest mistake (caused by their often confusing instructions). But I really don't know what they will do for sure. Maybe someone else can chime in with more insight.

If its possible just print off that page again......crossing this way will nullified your form...So to be safe don't submit such forms else its just waste of time.

As I think about more, it is better to be safe like hhafiz said.
