Co-op Work Permit Flagpole in BC

Hi everyone,

I am an international student and have received a co-op job offer. The position starts on May 3rd and my co-op work permit hasn't been approved yet. I was just wondering if I can flagpole to obtain my co-op work permit if I still haven't received it until 1 week before my co-op start date? Does anyone know if I can flagpole at Point Roberts border in BC (do they accept flagpole applications during this time?). Thank you.

Flagpoling is currently not allowed.
