Hey all, I've got a question regarding my Co-op visa. I've just received my CAL and will submit my application in MyCIC as soon as possible. I originally planned to do an internship for two months. Therfore the offer of employment I handed in and also the LMIA exempt that my employer submitted include dates from Jan to March 2016. However due to unforeseen circumstances I now have to leave a week earlier than expected. My question is: am I bound to have a flight back AFTER the day that my work permit expires? Say my work permit is valid until March 4 2016. Would they care at the border when I enter Canada if my flight back is actually end of February instead? I read on the MyCIC website that the dates on the POE (which I don't have YET, though) cannot be changed or extended. However in my case it's the opposite: I want to leave earlier. I've heard they issue the work permit at the border for the time of the agreement written in the POE, but if it doesn't match with my flight back...could it lead to issues at the border? I don't want to take any risks, but on the other all other documents indicate a different time period and everything would have to be changed, and I'm afraid they may even reject me for that...
Any help will be highly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!
