Hi,
I completed my bachelor's from a public university in Canada. During my studies, I did a continuous, paid full-time Co-op as a Software Engineer (which is what my "primary occupation" is and what I studied for). According to the IRCC website, this should count towards the minimum requirements of my FSW application. I completed my entire EE profile, and inside employment history, and I stated my co-op. I also added my full-time job offer where I am currently working (also the same NOC).
According to my application, it says I am not eligible for FSW but I am for CEC?
AFAIK, Co-ops usually don't count towards CEC, but I don't see a way for me to distinguish a co-op from my full-time job. It looks like it's treating my co-op as 1 year of full-time job and therefore saying that I am eligible for CEC which I don't think I am. Has anyone dealt with this? Any idea what I can do? Should I not post my co-ops in employment history?
