Dear Friends,
I have received the second package from CNO which includes "Verification of Registration" that i have to sent to all jurisdictions where i have registered and/or practised. My registration with my parent jurisdiction where i completed my nursing studies and did my initial nursing registration has been expired, and since i am no longer working in that jurisdiction it is not renewable. So, my humble query is that "Is it mandatory by CNO that i should maintain an active nursing registration with my parent jurisdiction?" Your opinions are highly appreciated. Thanks....

Usually if you seek registration in any country other than ur initial registration country.. it is necessary to have valid license from ur parent state/jurisdiction. But in terms of CNO, its better to ask them directly on email. They will take time to reply u back (personal experience)
Can you please tell me how much time they took to send u 2nd package? I m also waiting for this..
Did they give you deadline to submit all documents this time?

Dear Cyra,

I have an active registration where i am working at present and a lifelong valid registration in another jurisdiction where i have worked. And in my parent jurisdiction, their law does not allow anyone to renew their expired registration if the person is no longer working in that jurisdiction. CNO didnt mention anything regarding this issue in their letter.

It took almost five months from my initial application submission. The whole process should be finished within two years.

If that is the case, they i think u go with the flow... submit all required documents, then if they ask you further abt the issue then u can justify reason on a cover letter in later stage. Gudluck with your verification documents.
