Closed work permit reapplication processing time

My closed work permit visa application was rejected because of an issue after 2 weeks of application (Applying from India). We reapplied, but haven't heard back after almost 3 weeks. Any idea how long it might take?

They were unsure if my company could pay me, so they asked for bank statements of the company. Just wondering why reapplication processing is taking more time than the initial one. It's a software engineering role so I assumed applications were processed in about 2 weeks
