Closed Work Permit (Inter company Transfer i.e. ICT) with ITA

Hi All,
I have to submit my ITA application and I have below doubt which I want to clarify -

I am on a closed work permit (ICT) which is expiring in Dec-20 and is LMIA Exempt. I want to understand if I should apply for WP before submitting ITA or wait for 2-3 months and then apply for WP.

Below CIC explanation is not clear to me that if they reject my WP my profile will go again in the pool. But how it is possible because I haven't claimed any points for the job offer in my application.

You have received an ITA, if I understood your posting those your work permit application should have nothing to do with your EE profile or your ITA.
