Closed Work Permit and Company closed down

I was working in Hamilton under closed work permit but my company closed down. From the past six months I am not doing anything.
Am I legal in Canada?
My work permit under that company is expiring on November 2012 but the company is no longer exist.
Please advice me!

You will need to find another company that can apply for an LMO for you and once that comes thru you have to reapply for a new work permit before u can work for another company.
