I just printed my receipt to send to CIC.
Do I have to know this Client ID or is it for their purpose?

IF you have ever had any dealings with CIC then you already have a client ID number, that will remain the same forever. If you have never had any dealings with CIC then don't worry about filling that in, they will assign one to you when your case is started.
