Client ID on payment form

Hi all,,

I just payed online for sponsorship application. On COPY 2 of receipt, they ask for name, date of birth, and CLIENT ID. Where can I find my CLIENT ID?

If you are the sponsor and is a PR, it's on your pr card

You likely don't have one, so leave it blank. After they start processing the application you will be assigned one.

Yes, I'm the sponsor, and a CDN citizen by birth. So I guess I leave CLIENT ID blank?

I'd leave it blank if you don't have one I gues...

Yes, you can leave it blank for now..the main reason that you need to fill the information is so that if you ever decide to withdraw your application, CIC will use the information on the receipt to make the refund.

If you're Canadian citizen by birth so you probably don't have client ID so just leave it blank. My husband did that too and everything was fine.
