Clearification of low GPA in SOP.

I have low GPA in my 2nd and 3rd semester in BE-Automobile.I had financial problems so i did part-time job in a automobile service-station during that period(approx. 1 year).I am going to mention this in my SOP when i apply for University.I am in 7th sem currently and my expected CGPA in the last 2 years of full-time study will be between 7 to 7.5 out of 10.

What proof will I have to provide them that I have worked in so and so service station along with my SOP to convince them? Any suggestions.Thank you.

The company that employed you will give you a certificate acknowledging your service to them. It is given on demand if the comapny you worked in was a registered one.
