Should I show the required amount of $13,000 CAD as proof of funds for 6 months in a bank statement even after that money was given to me as a gift( in the form of gift deed)? I was told that I should show some $13,000 CAD as proof of funds in a 6 month bank statement only if I earned that money myself. If it's a gift deed, 6 month bank statement is not required & I can file for all documents once I receive ITA. Is it true?
